Dear Visitor:
Gamma Pi chapter welcomes you to our home on the Web. I am glad that we are able to share with you our work in the local community and also keep you abreast of our social and community calendar. We invite you to support us by contributing to our fundraising events as well as our service projects, whether you are a Fraternity member or a representative of the civic and business community.
Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. has a long and storied history of achievement. We are one of the best-known and most-respected Black Greek-letter organizations in America. Members of Omega Psi Phi are among the most accomplished men in our society and we represent all walks of professional life.
The year 2011 was special for our Fraternity as Omega Psi Phi celebrated our 100th Anniversary. We were founded at Howard University on November 17, 1911. Since that historic beginning, Omega Psi Phi has become a known quantity in nearly every community across this country. Our reputation is derived from the work that we do in accordance with our Fraternity’s Four Cardinal Principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance and Uplift. Gamma Pi chapter has a legacy within that framework that has earned our chapter a reputation as “The Super Chapter,” thanks to our commitment to the youth, families and seniors of Prince George’s County, Maryland.
We look forward to your support in helping us continue with the work ahead to improve our communities, and we look forward to seeing you at one of our activities this year. There is nothing like the mystique and experience that is Omega Psi Phi!
