Gamma Pi Brother Has the Midas Touch in Coaching; Wins Soccer Title

Bro. Lawrence

Brother Rod Lawrence has a corner on youth coaching. In more than one youth sport, he has guided a team to a title. Most recently, Bro. Lawrence led private school St. Vincent Pallotti to the 2021 MIAA (Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association) soccer title in a  "C" Conference showdown against Gerstell Academy of Finksburg, Md., on Sunday, November 7, at Anne Arundel County Community College. Bro. Lawrence's Panthers were the top seed going into the playoff tournament. In an incredible run, Bro. Lawrence led the the Panthers to three consecutive shutouts in the playoffs. In other words, the team was unscored on during the entire three-round competition: 7-0, 4-0 and 2-0 in the final game. Bro. Lawrence wants to make it clear to the world that if the Premier League calls, he is referring all calls to his agent. Another example of Gamma Pi Chapter and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. leading the way in male mentoring in the local community.
