For Omega Men, Manhood Always Starts at Home ...
To the men of Gamma Pi chapter, family is important. And raising your children is a large part of Manhood, one of the Four Cardinal Principles of the Fraternity. A lot of times a Brother's devotion to Manhood is evident in his family and more specifically through his offspring and their accomplishments. Young Morganne Norwood (photos above) , daughter of Brother Don Norwood, has recently been showing off her athletic exploits as a member of the Girls Basketball Team at C.D. Hylton High School in Woodbridge, Virginia. Miss Norwood, a junior (above), just recently led her team to a big comeback upset win over highly-touted Potomac High School. The January 23 victory and her role in it was chronicled in the Northern Virginia Times newspaper. Miss Norwood also participates in Gamma Pi's Project ENRICH academic enrichment program which helps prepare young high school students for college. You can watch a video of the game here: Hylton versus Potomac. Bro. Norwood is Assistant Keeper of Records and Seal for Gamma Pi.
