Gamma Pi's "Diplomatic Que" Settling Nicely into South African Role
It's been seven months now since Gamma Pi past Basileus Bro. Teddy Taylor headed overseas to a new foreign post, this time to South Africa. He was U.S. Ambassador to Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. As the U.S. Consul General in Cape Town, a beautiful world-class coastal city, Bro. Taylor is the chief diplomatic contact and official representative for the U.S. government there. These past few months have been a whirlwind for Bro. Taylor, from meetings with royalty to global business leaders to world renown entertainment legends. In the photo above, Bro, Taylor rubs elbows with legendary jazz artist and trumpeter Hugh Masekela, who Bro. Taylor hosted in his official government residence during the recent Cape Town International Jazz Festival. With so much success in a relatively short time, Bro. Taylor's exploits were recently chronicled in an online publication, called Medium. Click on the next link below to read the fascinating story now being posted in Medium about Bro. Taylor, one of Gamma Pi's sons, who has had a truly remarkable career as a U.S. State Department Diplomat: Seven Months on the Move. You can also send Bro. Taylor an e-mail. Also, visit Bro. Taylor's Wiki Page.
