The Super Chapter Makes a Huge Visit to Local Juvenile Offenders

The Brothers of Gamma Pi Chapter spent Saturday morning, June 29, bringing hope and UPLIFT to the young men (age 18 and under) who are residents at the Cheltenham Youth Detention Center in Prince George's County, MD. It was the chapter's annual trek to the facility. This year's visit was powerful in a special way as Brothers told stories of their own encounters with the justice system and their experiences being incarcerated as juveniles and in some cases as adults. It was a moving program and the response from the youth and the center staff validates the Fraternity's growing focus on reaching back and mentoring young Black males.
