Don't Even Try to Outlast This Omega Man in A Distance Run ...

Gamma Pi Chapter's Assistant Keeper of Finance, Bro. Lawrence Dukes, often lives his life "on the run" as a U.S. Postal Inspector traveling across the country. He has recently been on the run, literally, as a competitor in a series of long distance races that are part of Maryland's King Crab Challenge, a three race long-distance running competition held in two cities. In the photos above, Bro. Dukes (Fall '13) is shown after completing the Frederick Half Marathon in May and the Baltimore 10-miler earlier this month. Bro Dukes has just one run left to complete the series, the Baltimore Half Marathon in October. The distance run series is designed to test "stamina and bravery" over long distance courses. When asked why he runs, Bro. Dukes replied "Because I  can. I have lost several family members and friends in recent years, so I run in memory of them."
