Gamma Pi's Bro. Marlin Godfrey Receives Promotion to Master in Kuk Sool

Brother Godfrey was officially promoted to 5th Degree Black Belt Master Instructor (Pyung Kwang Jah Nim) on October 10, 2015 in Houston, TX.  Brother Godfrey have been training in Kuk Sool since 1994 and has been teaching Kuk Sool in the DMV since 1998. The Master’s promotion ceremony was held at the World Kuk Sool Championships and Master’s Demonstration, where Brother Godfrey was accompanied by 12 of his students to compete in the tournament. Brother Godfrey’s students performed very well at the tournament.  Accumulating a total of over 140 total points and one of his students won Grand Champion of the 40 and over 2nd Degree Black Belt Division. Brother Godfrey was asked to perform an empty hand form at the Master’s demonstration and in normal Gamma Pi fashion did an outstanding job and was congratulated by his peers and Senior Masters. Congratulations Brother Godfrey on your Master Promotion!
