Gamma Pi Brother Leads Local Voter Registration Training

With the national election just a few weeks away, time is drawing nigh for all preparations to be made for the process to take place efficiently and fairly. Millions are working behind the scenes to ensure a smooth process, including Gamma Pi's Bro. Melvern McCottry, seen here providing voter registration training to the women of Alpha Kappa Alpha and Delta Sigma Theta chapters in Prince George's County. Bro. McCottry, former longtime NAACP Chair for the Second District, conducts many of the training sessions on weekends during non-business hours for the NAACP, as a way of enhancing outreach and expanding the support network for voter registration.
