Helping Seniors Celebrate Their Golden Years Happily
Gamma Pi chapter's commitment to seniors is comprehensive and consistent. It is highlighted by an annual Seniors Banquet held at a county church during the summer. But during other times of the year, the Super Chapter is supporting some of the oldest citizens in Prince George's County. Aside from the annual banquet, one of the most popular activities for seniors is the Quarterly Birthday Bash that the chapter holds for seniors in Suitland's Windsor Crossing community. Every three months, Brothers gather residents together and celebrate birthdays over cake, ice cream, cookies, punch and small gifts. In the photos above, Brothers are seen leading the celebration during the September event. Read more about how Gamma Pi works with seniors in the county as part of the chapter's ongoing Social Action initiatives: For Seniors.
