Gamma Pi's Project ENRICH Prepares to Kickoff New Academic Year
It was just three months ago that Gamma Pi's Project ENRICH academic program was closing up shop for the 2017-18 academic year and the summer vacation period. And already, just that quickly, school is back in session as Brother Willie Hines (director) and the Project ENRICH team are getting set up for yet another academic year. The program is for 9th-12th graders looking ahead to college. Students must enter in 9th grade and stick with the program until graduation. It meets one Saturday a month at Bowie State University. Students and their parents learn about scholarship opportunities and financial aid, the admissions process, how to decide where to apply, how to choose a major and what the overall college experience is like. Registrations are now being accepted online at: www.projecterich.org .
