Gamma Pi Talks Foundations and Achievement Week on New Telecast
Gamma Pi's local TV show, "Community UPLIFT," is back on the air with a new episode that focuses on the work and mission of its two foundations, Friendship Charities Foundation, Inc, and the Charles Drew Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc., as well as the upcoming Achievement Week activities. In the photos above, Brothers Lucien Cox (head of Friendship Charities), Brett Blake (head of Charles Drew), Teddy Taylor (Achievement Week chair) and Basileus Tony Lee are seen on the set during the October 2 taping session at Prince George's Community TV (PGCTV) studios in Largo. The 30-minute show is now airing this month on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m and Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. on Comcast (Ch. 76) and Verizon FiOS (Channel 42).
