Gamma Pi Joins Alpha Omega to Serve Men at Local Homeless Shelter

The Brothers of Gamma Pi banded together with Brothers from neighboring Alpha Omega chapter (Washington, D.C.) to bring food, fellowship, fun and football to men in the Father McKenna homeless shelter located downtown at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Obviously down on their luck and facing stiff life circumstances, the men who reside at the shelter welcomed the company and camaraderie of the Brothers for an afternoon of NFL action on TV, featuring the Redskins-Falcons match-up. Brothers have visited the shelter several times in recent years. Thanks to the Social Action team for bringing service to an often forgotten segment of the population in-need.
