As the year comes to a close and we enter the Holiday Season, we at Gamma Pi chapter would like to thank each and every one of our supporters for a fantastic year! As we look back on 2012, you helped us start Omega Psi Phi Fraternity’s 101st year in high gear. We have never looked back For Gamma Pi, the highlight of the year was the 64th Second District Conference that we hosted at National Harbor in April. We had a record turnout of Omega men from the five-state region and it will go down as one of the most memorable District meetings ever. All the planning and hard work that went into this effort really paid off. Our supporters also helped make that a success by attending our public and social events that were associated with the District meeting. For our patrons, other highlights of 2012 were another outstanding Mardi Gras Extravaganza, two classy summertime parties, a free picnic, and several community programs like Talent Hunt, the annual Seniors Banquet and of course our Annual Achievement Week observance. None of our community events and service programs can be successful without you. Now we turn our attention to our beloved chapter’s noteworthy 40th Anniversary which we will celebrate officially in March. We look forward to your support at the Anniversary Mardi Gras, which promises to be special in conjunction with the chapter’s 40th anniversary. Before that, we will host our Annual Super Bowl gathering. You can find additional information on these upcoming activities on our Events Page. Again, thank you for a great 2012 and we are eager to see you in 2013! Gordon Everett, Basileus
