Gamma Pi Alumni Member Still Showcasing that Omega Voice
The Super Chapter is full of talented brothers. A few years ago, one of the most talented, Brother Eddie Epps (Psi Epsilon'78), packed up and headed to Delaware after a long and productive career with the Prince George's County Parks and Recreation where he retired as manager of the Kentland Community Center where Gamma Pi has long conducted its Que Kidz Dayz program. One thing he didn't "retire" was his fabulous voice. In this YouTube video, Brother Epps sings a spirited rendition of "I Still Have a Praise" with his church choir, Canaan Baptist Church in New Castle, Del. Many Brothers will remember Brother Epps also as one of the members (first and second tenor) of the vocal group Past Tense during his years in the Washington, D.C. metro area. He lives in Wilmington, Del. today and is affiliated with Psi Iota chapter in Dover. Brother Epps is about to be on the move again as the next leg of his retirement will take him to Gaffney, S.C., where he is relocating this Spring.
