Gamma Pi's Project ENRICH Helps Students See Their "Vision" of the Future

Gamma Pi’s flagship scholarship initiative, Project ENRICH, opened the new decade on Saturday, January 4 with its first post-holiday monthly session and its first of the new year, at Bowie State University. Director Bro. Willie Hines and the Gamma Pi team led the students in a session during which they presented their “vision boards” to peers and parents. What is a vision board? It is an actual graphical representation poster board on which students have mapped out a vision of their futures as it relates to education requirements, major, careers and even the type of homes and autos they hope to own one day as a result of their hard work and achievement. Bro. Hines uses vision Boards to help students actively plan their futures and track their success. It's also a great tool for helping the Project ENRICH staff know areas in which they may they need to counsel individual students. Visit Project ENRICH on the web to learn more about the program. Project ENRICH is still accepting registrations for the current 2019-20 academic year.
